The Legal Advice Clinic is operated by the University of Huddersfield with the aim to provide free legal advice to those most in need in our community. We offer weekly free drop-in sessions with local solicitors and appointments with our dedicated Law students. The Legal Advice Clinic operates on a term-time only basis and can provide advice to clients on a number of different areas of law with the exception of criminal matters, immigration and debt. The clinic will only take on cases where the client is classed as ‘low income’. The clinic provides an advice-only service; we cannot offer representation in court.
