Santa is set to come to Huddersfield after Packhorse Shopping Centre announces its Christmas event for 2016.
Back by popular demand, Santa is returning to Packhorse Kitchen to meet and greet with the little elves of Huddersfield. Packhorse is launching its popular Christmas event for the second year running with plenty of festive attractions on offer for all.
The Centre’s family-focused seasonal event, Packhorse Kitchen’s Christmas Festive Feast, is set to take place on Thursday, December 22nd between 12pm and 3pm with plenty of activities and Christmas treats.
Taking place in Packhorse Kitchen, the event will feature a meet and greet with Santa Claus, a Christmas Craft Workshop station and Christmas market stalls where families will be invited to sample festive treats from each of the Centre’s eateries. The Street Food Corner will be inviting all to sample brand new menu additions whilst hosting a Christmas crepe workshop for children.
David Heathcote-Smith, Centre manager at Packhorse Shopping Centre, said: “Christmas is all about the memorable experience and we are really focusing on offering something truly special for children. To bring this magical experience to life, we are bringing a new activity into play where children can write a personalised letter to Santa in our Christmas Craft Workshop Station.
“Christmas is a special time of year for everyone and we are absolutely delighted to bring something unforgettable to Huddersfield to offer an enchanted experience that promises to be a wonderful day out.”
The event is free to attend, although parents will be encouraged to make a small donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital, a charity that the Centre has raised money for in the past, this will be collected by Santa’s elf throughout the day.
